About Us
Founded in 2024, Grace Helping Hands is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential hygiene and feminine care products to women and children experiencing homelessness across Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Baltimore City, and Washington D.C.
Starting as a grassroots effort, we have expanded into a community-driven organization that partners with local shelters, outreach programs, and food pantries to distribute hygiene kits. Granting consistent access to products that are too often overlooked, yet critical to dignity and health.
By restoring access to basic hygiene, we improve health, promote dignity, and empower individuals to thrive.
Our Services
Completely volunteer-led and operated, we provide essential hygiene and feminine care products — including sanitary napkins — to those who need them most. Through direct distribution and partnerships with shelters and community organizations, we ensure consistent access to these vital supplies, we empower women to care for themselves with dignity and confidence.
We believe everyone deserves the dignity of basic hygiene — regardless of their circumstances. Our mission is to challenge hygiene poverty and empower individuals to reach their full potential.

How we work
We believe dignity starts with access to the basics. That’s why we work with trusted community partners to ensure every donation reaches the people who need it most.
We collect essential hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, and menstrual products.
These products are distributed through our network of community partners, including shelters and social service organizations.
By providing these essentials, we help improve the health, dignity, and well-being of unhoused individuals and families across Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Baltimore City, Central Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
